Proper cabling is essential for trouble-free operation of the Irinos system. Please observe the following rules:

oPlace all cables spatially separated from possible sources of interference, such as inverters or motor cables.

oAvoid unnecessarily long cables. Avoid "cable loops" in particular.

oAll measurement cables and the EC-Link- and qLink-cables must be shielded.

oUse the locking mechanisms of the connectors.

oAvoid mechanical stress that can affect the cables.

When used in drag chains, ensure that suitable cables are used.

Provide all unused external connectors with a protective cap.

The PCB with the connectors in the base box may move slightly. This is intended!
